Helen Ginter's work experience includes roles at various organizations. Helen currently serves as the General Counsel at Rand, a platform for NFTs and DAOs. Prior to this, they were an Entrepreneur at Entrepreneur First for a brief period in 2020. Before that, they took a career break from 2019 to 2020. From 2013 to 2019, they worked at the Financial Conduct Authority, first as a Policy Advisor in the Innovation Hub, and later as a Policy Advisor in the Open Banking team. Helen also spent a year as a Seconded National Expert at the European Commission, focusing on retail financial services and innovation. Additionally, they worked as an Associate in the Banking & Finance Legal Team at SORAINEN from 2009 to 2012 and interned at the Civil Chamber of the Supreme Court of Estonia in 2008.
Helen Ginter began their education at the University of Tartu in 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Law and Economics and Business Administration in 2007. Helen then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Law at the same university, completing it in 2009. In 2008, Ginter attended the American Institute for Political and Economic Systems' Summer School program. Additionally, they participated in a Summer School program at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München in 2009. Finally, in 2012-2013, Ginter attended the University of Cambridge and specialized in Commercial Law, earning a Master of Laws degree (LLM).
