William Johnson

William Johnson, MPA, serves as the Assistant County Manager for Randolph County, NC since January 2023, bringing extensive experience in local government management. Previous roles include City Manager for the City of Randleman and Assistant County Manager for Edgecombe County Government, where responsibilities encompassed fiscal management, project oversight, and program administration in areas such as housing and economic development. Johnson has held positions such as Interim Finance Director and Assistant Finance Director, focusing on budget coordination and maintaining fiscal integrity. Additionally, significant volunteer work includes serving on the Finance Committee for Down East Partnership for Children. Johnson holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and a Bachelor's degree in History and Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
