Mark Moore began their work experience in 1990 as an EMT-Paramedic at Gaston County EMS, where they worked until 1997. Mark then worked as an EMT-Paramedic at Medcenter Air from 1995 to 2000. In 2000, they started working as an Application Specialist at Carolinas Healthcare System, a position they held until 2009. From 2009 to 2012, Mark served as the IT Director at Val Verde Regional Medical Center. In 2012, they joined Randolph Health as the Director of IT Applications, a role they held until 2019. Since November 2019, Mark has been the Director of Information and Technology Services at Randolph Health. Additionally, since January 2018, they have been volunteering as the Co-Chair at NCHICA, a non-profit organization focused on improving healthcare through IT.
Mark Moore obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Information Technology from Western Governors University in 2016. Prior to that, they attended Gaston College from 1999 to 2003, although the degree obtained is unknown. Additionally, Mark has several certifications in various IT fields from institutions such as the Linux Professional Institute, CompTIA, Microsoft, and CIWcertified. These certifications include LPIC-1 Linux Server Professional, Linux+, SUSE Certified Linux Administrator, Microsoft Technology Associate, Database Design Specialist, JavaScript Specialist, Microsoft Certified Professional, Web Design Specialist, Project+, A+ | ce, Network+ | ce, Security+ | ce, Healthcare IT Technician, and Web Foundations Associate.
