Scott van Gundy

Scott Van Gundy is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in telecommunications and software development. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer/Contractor at Range Networks since November 2013, Scott is responsible for the technical aspects of the company's small cell phone system, particularly the design and implementation of cell phone roaming using C++, MySQL, and Linux. Prior to this role, Scott worked at ShoreTel, Inc. for over 16 years, where as a Staff Engineer and Director, contributed to the development of an enterprise-class VoIP system and managed multiple software teams. Earlier experience includes a position as Staff Software Engineer at Solopoint, Inc., where Scott developed innovative telecommunications products, earning two patents. Scott's career began at Octel Communications, where involvement in product design and engineering led to the creation of advanced voicemail systems. Scott holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley, and has also attended the University of California, Santa Cruz.
