Patrick McGannon has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. Patrick retired in 2018 and prior to that, they held the role of Vice President of Business Development at Rangeland Energy starting in 2013. Before that, they founded and managed their own company, McGannon Energy LLC, starting in 2011. Patrick worked at Denali - the Alaska Gas Pipeline (BP) from 2009 to 2011 as a Commercial Manager. Patrick had a long tenure at BP, starting in 2000, where they served as a Business Development Manager and later focused on major onshore crude oil pipeline projects as the Business Development Manager for BP Pipeline. Prior to BP, Patrick worked at Amoco from 1990 to 1999, where they held various positions including Crude Oil Trading Manager and Pipeline Control Center Manager.
Patrick McGannon's education history begins with their high school education at Hinsdale Central High School, which they attended from 1970 to 1975. After completing high school, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Dayton, graduating in 1979. Following their undergraduate studies, Patrick went on to study at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management from 1983 to 1986, earning a Master of Management degree with a focus on Finance and Advertising.
