Steve Townes

President & CEO, founder at Ranger Aerospace

Steve Townes has over 30 years of experience in the aerospace industry. Steve began their career in 1994 as President of the Commercial Division at Sabreliner Corp., a leading aerospace services company. In 1997, they became President and CEO of Aircraft Service International Group, Inc. (ASIG), and co-owner of SkyTanking, which was acquired by Ranger Aerospace. In 2001, they became CEO and co-owner of Keystone Helicopter, a successful Ranger Aerospace venture. In 2006, they became Chairman, CEO, and co-owner of Ranger Rotorcraft Group, Inc., a rotorcraft technical services consolidation. In 2008, they became President and CEO of Ranger International Services Group, Inc., a government outsourcing company. In 2015, they became Chairman of SC Aerospace, and in 2016 they became President and CEO of ACL Airshop, a technology-enabled market leader in Air Cargo ULD equipment and logistics systems. Steve is also a Board of Directors Member and Advisor for Precision Aviation Group, and a Founder and Senior Partner of Ranger Partners LLC.

Steve Townes received a BS in Engineering and Management from the United States Military Academy at West Point. Steve then attended Harvard Business School to obtain a PMD in Post-MBA Advanced Business Management. Finally, they obtained an MBA in Master's in Business Administration from Long Island University in the years 1978-1980.
