Nicholas Lim

Nicholas Lim has a diverse range of work experience. Nicholas started their career in 2007 as an Epidemiology Research Assistant in the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF), where they monitored infectious disease outbreaks and conducted investigations within army camps. In 2010, they joined Prudential Assurance Company Singapore as an Associate Financial Consultant, providing wealth management advice to clients and achieving recognition as a top producer.

In 2012, Nicholas held the role of Accounts Executive at PromoPower Pte Ltd, where they managed end-to-end accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll calculations, and petty cash. Nicholas also streamlined the manual payroll calculation process, reducing computation time by 50%.

From 2012 to 2013, they worked as an Accounts Payable Accountant at Tyco Fire & Security Services. In 2013, they transitioned to UTC Fire & Security as an Assistant Accountant, and later became a Financial Analyst for Southeast Asia. During this time, they demonstrated proficiency in financial analysis and accounting.

In 2018, Nicholas joined Ranpak as a Financial Analyst for APAC, and progressively moved up to Manager and Senior Manager roles in Financial Planning & Analysis. Nicholas drove strategic planning, managed budgets and forecasts, implemented system improvements, and oversaw general accounting and controlling activities for multiple countries. In 2022, they were promoted to the role of Business Controller for the EMEA region.

Nicholas Lim pursued their education chronologically starting from 2001 until 2011. Nicholas attended Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) from 2001 to 2004 and completed their GCE "O" Levels. Following that, from 2005 to 2006, they enrolled in Serangoon Junior College and obtained their GCE "A" Levels with a focus on Economics. Lastly, they attended the University of London from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business.
