Esther Cheng

Esther Cheng has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Esther currently holds the position of Director of Software Engineering at Rapid Silicon since September 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Intel Corporation in various roles. From January 2021 to August 2022, they served as the Customer Experience Group Senior Manager, responsible for resolving customer issues and developing solutions to enhance product adoption. From March 2019 to January 2021, they were the Software Configuration Senior Manager, and from March 2016 to March 2019, they held the role of Software Configuration Manager. During their tenure at Intel, Esther successfully established strategic partnerships, expanded team charters, and achieved high team retention. Before joining Intel, Esther worked at Altera as the Software Configuration Section Head from October 2013 to February 2016. Esther also gained experience at Intel Corporation as a Technical Marketing professional from August 2011 to October 2013, where they led the Asia-Pacific Early Access Program. Esther started their career at Altera in 2006 as an IP Characterization specialist and was responsible for device verification and characterization. Esther also had an internship at Agilent Technologies in 2005.

Esther Cheng attended Universiti Teknologi Malaysia from 2001 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
