Andrew McCartney

Andrew McCartney began their career as a Software Engineer at NiSoft in August 2014. Andrew worked in that role until November 2017 when they were promoted to Senior Software Engineer. In March 2018, they joined Blue Zinc IT as a Senior Software Developer. In September 2019, they became the Corporate Development Team Lead at Blue Zinc IT and held that role until October 2021. Most recently, Andrew started working at Rapid7 in October 2021 as a Senior Software Engineer and was promoted to Lead Software Engineer in February 2023.

Andrew McCartney completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science from Queen's University Belfast from 2010 to 2014. Additionally, they obtained two certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS) - the AWS Academy Machine Learning Foundations in May 2023 and the AWS Academy Cloud Architecting in January 2023.
