Daniel Lydon

Daniel Lydon's work experience begins in 2014 at Liberty IT, where they serve as a Senior Information Security Analyst (SOC) until 2019. In this role, they are responsible for incident handling, incident documentation, and incident response for all Severity level incidents.

In 2019, Daniel joins Rapid7 as an Information Security Analyst and later progresses to the role of Senior Threat Analyst - Detection & Response until 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Lead Detection and Response Analyst at Rapid7.

Daniel Lydon's education history is as follows:

- From 2018 to 2019, they attended Technological University Dublin and obtained a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Computing in Digital Forensics and Cyber Security.

- From 2017 to 2018, they also studied at Technological University Dublin, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computing in Digital Forensics and Cyber Security with a focus on Computer Science.

- Prior to that, from 2015 to 2017, they completed a Higher Certificate in Science in Computer Systems Management at Technological University Dublin, specializing in Information Technology.

- GIAC Cloud Forensics Responder (GCFR) from GIAC Certifications, obtained in April 2023.

- GIAC Certified Forensic Examiner (GCFE) from GIAC Certifications, obtained in September 2020.

- Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) from (ISC)², obtained in August 2015.

- Microsoft MTA Security from Microsoft, obtained in July 2015.
