Amarnath Yennu, PhD

Amarnath Yennu, PhD, has a strong background in data science and algorithm development. Amarnath began their career as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Texas at Arlington, where they conducted laboratory research, designed experiments, and assisted in grants writing. During this time, they also served as an Enhanced Graduate Teaching Assistant, co-teaching courses and guiding students in research activities. After completing their work at the University of Texas, Yennu joined Stanford University School of Medicine as a Data Scientist. In this role, they analyzed medical images for the DEFUSE3 clinical trial, collaborated with clinicians and senior scientists, and interpreted stroke-related images. Amarnath also played a key role in processing and reviewing perfusion images and developed internal software for the trial. Yennu's most recent position is with RapidAI, where they serve as a Senior Data Scientist in Algorithms & Machine Learning.
