Jim is a senior commercial leader in the medical device industry with over 20 years in leadership positions at Abbott, Johnson & Johnson, GE and most recently Terumo Aortic where he was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for North America. During his tenure with Terumo Aortic, the US division grew more than 10x in revenue through key growth and marketing strategies, new sales programs, and growth-based compensation plans. Throughout his time at Terumo, his responsibilities included Sales, Marketing, Training, Commercial Operations, National Accounts, Customer Service, Contracting, Business Development, as well as pricing strategies and building a strong commercial leadership team.
Prior to Terumo Aortic, Jim was with Abbott Vascular for 7 years including time as Area Vice President of Sales and US Director of Strategy and Execution. In these positions, Jim created a new strategy and channel for the division that resulted in over $500 million of sales growth in the US while transforming the division culture and reducing turnover significantly during his tenure.
