Prior to that, they worked at Terumo Medical Corporation from December 2017 to February 2021, where they served as a Product Manager. Miranda also co-founded and served as the General Manager of Innovaject LLC, an early-stage development and licensing company focused on preventing and treating mastitis in dairy animals.
Before their entrepreneurial endeavors, Miranda worked at the Mayo Clinic as a Doctoral Candidate and Research Assistant. As a Doctoral Candidate in the Orthopedic Biomechanics Laboratory from January 2007 to June 2010, they developed 3-D spinal models, biomechanically tested and analyzed cadaveric spines, and presented their research at international conferences. Miranda also worked as a Research Assistant from June 2006 to December 2007.
