Karina Chmielewski

Karina Chmielewski's work experience begins in 1996 as a Senior Associate Scientist at ARIAD Pharmaceuticals, where they worked until 1998. Karina then worked at CambridgeSoft Corporation as a Software Engineer from 1998 to 2000. From 2000 to 2003, they were a Project Lead at SimUtility Inc, where they contributed to the building and operation of High Performance Computing (HPC) Online Services.

In 2003, Chmielewski joined TransForm Pharmaceuticals, a subsidiary of Johnson and Johnson, as a Principal Developer/Team Leader. Karina held this role until 2010 when they joined Agios Pharmaceuticals as an Associate Director of Informatics. Karina'stime at Agios Pharmaceuticals lasted from 2010 to 2014.

Starting in 2016, Chmielewski became a Consultant specializing in Informatics Platform Build. Karina worked for three companies in this capacity, including Relay Therapeutics from January to December 2016, Goldfinch Bio from September 2016 to May 2017, and Tango Therapeutics from November 2016 to May 2017.

In 2017, Chmielewski joined Third Rock Ventures as a Senior Director of Platform Operations. Karina held this position until May 2019 when they were promoted to Vice President of Platform Operations, a role they currently hold.

Most recently, Chmielewski began serving as the Interim Head of Platform and Informatics at Rapport Therapeutics in September 2022.

Karina Chmielewski has a strong educational background in various fields. Karina pursued their Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Boston University from 1992 to 1996. Following that, they continued their academic journey at the same university and earned a Master's degree in Chemistry from 1992 to 1996 as well. Karina further expanded their knowledge and skills by pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science from Boston University, completing it from 1997 to 1999.

Apart from their formal education, Karina Chmielewski has also acquired additional certifications. In August 2014, they obtained a certification in Human Subject Research (HSR) from the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI). Furthermore, they hold a certification as a Certified Scrum Master from the Scrum Alliance, although the specific date of acquisition is unknown.
