Michele Ghiggia

Michele Ghiggia currently serves as Primo segretario at Rappresentanza Permanente d'Italia presso l'Unione europea, focusing on competition coordination, state aid, and infringement procedures since May 2021. Prior to this role, Michele worked as Segretario di legazione at the Ministero degli Affari Esteri e della Cooperazione Internazionale from September 2016 to May 2021, contributing to the Directorate General of Personnel. Michele's legal experience includes positions as an associate lawyer at Studio Benessia - Maccagno Associazione professionale avvocati from January 2009 to September 2016 and at Gianni & Origoni from September 2007 to January 2009, as well as serving as a legal advisor and member of the Board of Directors at Moneyfarm from January 2010 to August 2016. Michele holds a Laurea Magistrale in Giurisprudenza from Università degli Studi di Torino and has furthered education at the University of Ottawa.
