Jim Farmer

Jim Farmer has a strong background in clinical operations and strategy, with over 18 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently, they serve as the Vice President of Clinical Operations at RAPT Therapeutics, a position they have held since April 2022. Prior to this, Jim worked at Travere Therapeutics as the Senior Director of Strategy & Operations from February 2019 to April 2022. Jim also held senior director roles in clinical operations at NantKwest, Coherus BioSciences, Portola Pharmaceuticals, Onyx Pharmaceuticals, Geron, and Nektar Therapeutics. Their experience at these companies ranged from 2011 to 2018. Earlier in their career, Jim worked as a Clinical Program Manager at Genentech, Inc. from 2005 to 2008, and at Shire Pharmaceuticals from 2004 to 2005. With their extensive experience in clinical operations and strategy, Jim brings valuable expertise to their current role at RAPT Therapeutics.

Jim Farmer completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Natural Sciences at Indiana University of Pennsylvania from 1986 to 1990. Prior to that, they attended JHS 1986 from 1982 to 1986. Before their high school years, they studied at Effingham Central Junior High from 1980 to 1982.
