Joel Fernandes

Joel Fernandes has extensive experience in finance and accounting roles. Joel currently serves as the Vice President, Finance & Corporate Controller at RAPT Therapeutics since April 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Finance Accounting Consultant at Molecular Templates from September 2017 to May 2019. From April 2006 to August 2017, Joel held the position of Senior Vice President, Finance & Controller at Threshold Pharmaceuticals. Joel also served as the Associate Director, Finance at Theravance from January 2005 to March 2006. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Manager, Finance and Accounting at KLA-Tencor from August 2002 to January 2005 and as an Assistant Controller at ALZA Corporation from April 1999 to April 2002. Joel began their career as a Manager of Auditing at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where they worked from October 1993 to April 1999.

Joel Fernandes attended St. Columba's School for an unknown duration of time. Joel then pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (BCOM) degree at Shri Ram College of Commerce from 1988 to 1990. After that, they enrolled at Manchester University and obtained a Master of Arts (M.A) degree in Accounting, completing their studies from 1990 to 1993.
