Ayush Gaud

Ayush Gaud is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in robotics and autonomous systems. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Rapyuta Robotics since February 2020, Ayush leads the Japan operations team for the Sootballs Pick Assist AMR solution. Prior to this role, Ayush worked at MathWorks from August 2018 to February 2020 as a Robot Navigation Engineer, where responsibilities included developing a Frenet frame based trajectory planner and behavior planning algorithms for autonomous driving. Ayush also contributed as a Graduate Research Assistant at IIIT Hyderabad from May 2016 to August 2018, focusing on the hardware and software integration of a self-driving car project, and was involved with Google Summer of Code as a Student Intern, creating a pipeline for autonomous 3D mapping for drones. Education includes a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing, Jabalpur, and high school from Campion School, Bhopal.
