Deanna Wong has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Deanna is currently a Vice President of People and Operations at Rarebase, starting in 2023. Prior to that, from 2022 to 2023, they worked as a Senior Operations Manager for the same company. In 2018, they served as the Executive Director for the Loving Eyes Foundation, where they provided strategic guidance to improve the vision for children with craniofacial anomalies. Deanna also worked as a Strategy and Operations Core Sprint Mentee at Skillful in 2022. From 2018 to 2022, they were a Program Manager at the Pacific Vision Foundation, overseeing resource coordination and driving the organization's objectives. Before that, they held various roles at UCSF Medical Center, including Clinical Supervisor for Ophthalmology, Patient and Billing Relations, and Administrative Assistant II for Pain Management (Anesthesia).
Deanna Wong holds a Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) degree from The George Washington University- Milken Institute School of Public Health, which they obtained between 2015 and 2017. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Physiology and Neuroscience at UC San Diego from 2006 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, Deanna has obtained various certifications, including Foundations of UX Design, Foundations: Data Data Everywhere, Project Management Certificate, Goal Setting: Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), How to Make Strategic Thinking a Habit, Operational Excellence Foundations, Project Management: Healthcare Projects, CITI, BLS/CPR, COA, and PMP® Certification Training Course.
