Nicole Perfito has a diverse work experience spanning from 2003 to the present. Nicole started their career as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at Princeton University from June 2003 to August 2005. Nicole then worked as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at the Max Planck Institute for Biological Intelligence from January 2008 to January 2012. Following this, they joined UC Berkeley as a Research Scientist in Neuroendocrinology & Reproduction from January 2012 to January 2015.
In 2015, Nicole transitioned to Science Exchange where they took on multiple roles. Nicole began as a Project Manager from January 2015 to January 2016, then became a Sourcing Director from January 2016 to June 2017. Nicole'slast role at Science Exchange was Vice President of Commercial Operations from June 2017 to November 2020.
Currently, Nicole works at Rarebase as the Director of Research Operations since November 2020 and is now the Vice President of Program Management starting from January 2023.
Nicole Perfito has an extensive education history. Nicole earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology/Animal Biology from the University of Washington, where they attended from 1990 to 1994. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Psychology at the same institution, graduating in 1997. Nicole Perfito then continued their academic journey at the University of Washington and completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biology/Biological Sciences, General in 2002.
