Jane Vance

Jane Vance has a diverse work experience spanning over many years. Jane'smost recent position is as the Head of Product Design at the Raspberry Pi Foundation, a role they have held since May 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Lead Product Designer at Pikl Insurance from June 2021 to January 2022. Jane also worked as a Project Coordinator at the University of East Anglia from November 2020 to May 2021.

Before transitioning to these roles, Jane spent almost five years at Foolproof as a Principal Designer. During their time there, they led and delivered various evidence-driven design, design strategy, and content projects across different sectors. Additionally, they line managed a team of six senior and midweight UX + UI designers, strategists, and content creators.

Earlier in their career, Jane worked at Apple in multiple roles. From May 2012 to December 2014, they served as a Content Producer, and from April 2010 to May 2012, they worked in Visual Merchandising and Operations. Jane started their professional journey as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Norwich University of the Arts from October 2008 to June 2009.

Jane Vance completed their education at Norwich University College of The Arts, where they obtained a Master's degree in Digital Arts. Jane attended this institution from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they received their Bachelor's degree in Visual Studies from Norwich School of Art and Design, which they attended from 2005 to 2008.
