Samuel Ramos Barroso

Samuel Ramos Barroso has a diverse work experience in the software development field. Samuel started their career at Move Smart City, where they completed an internship focused on developing a fitness app using Ionic 4, Angular 6, and Firebase. Samuel later continued working with Move Smart City as a mobile application developer, responsible for upgrading the app and creating a management portal.

After that, Samuel joined BITBOX (IT IKEA Spanish Islands) as a full stack developer. In this role, they worked on an employee and user management project for IKEA, utilizing technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, JPA, SQL, CouchDB, Elasticsearch, React, Redux, Git, and LDAP. Samuel also implemented a microservices architecture.

Currently, Samuel is employed at RatedPower as a staff software developer. Samuel is involved in the development of the pvDesign backend, using technologies like Spring Boot, Java 11, and AWS. pvDesign is a cloud-based software tool for automating and optimizing the analysis, design, and engineering of photovoltaic plants.

Overall, Samuel has gained experience in backend development, mobile application development, and full stack development.

Samuel Ramos Barroso completed their education at Universidad de La Laguna from 2013 to 2018, where they obtained a degree in Ingenieria Informatica with a field of study in Tecnologías de la información.
