Alan Dobbie

Alan Dobbie is currently a Fund Manager at Rathbone Brothers. Alan has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry, working with various companies in various capacities. Alan started their career as a Senior Analyst Programmer with Scottish Widows in 1998, before moving to the Royal Bank of Scotland in 1999, where they worked their way up to Technical Layer Architect. In 2010, they left IBM to join Morgan Stanley as a C++ Developer, before moving to Lloyds Banking Group in 2011 as an IT Consultant. Alan left Lloyds in 2012 to join Rathbone Brothers as a Fund Manager.

Alan Dobbie has a certification from TestDome in C++ (Hard) and a certification from TestDome in Java (Hard).

They are on a team with Alexander Gudiens - Senior Financial Planner, Alanna Mok - Tax Manager, and Achuthan Rajendra - Assistant Investment Manager. Alan Dobbie reports to Paul Stockton, Group CEO.
