Chris van Allsburg

Chris Van Allsburg is an experienced educator and ethics advocate, currently serving as an instructor at Catawba Valley Community College, where courses in philosophy and ethics are taught, covering topics such as metaphysics, epistemology, and the meaning of life. In addition to teaching, Chris serves as a publications editor for Ratio Christi since April 2020 and has been the co-chair of the Ethics Committee at Frye Regional Medical Center since May 2017, facilitating discussions to amplify patient voices in critical end-of-life cases. Academic credentials include a B.A. in Literature, English, and Journalism from Western Michigan University, a Master's Degree in Philosophy from Southern Evangelical Seminary, and an M.Div. in Ancient Near Eastern and Biblical Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics from Grace College & Seminary.
