Shawn Hillier

Shawn Hillier is an accomplished professional in the biotechnology and pharmaceuticals sectors, currently serving as EVP and Head of Preclinical Development as well as Chief Operating Officer at Ratio Therapeutics since June 2021. Previously, Shawn held significant roles at Noria Therapeutics as a Consultant and at Invicro as Study Director from November 2019 to May 2021. Prior experience includes Vice President and Senior Director of Research and Development at Symbiotix Biotherapies, Inc., and Principal Scientist in Rare Disease at Moderna Therapeutics. From October 2012 to April 2016, Shawn worked as Senior Research Scientist in Pharmacology, Oncology, and Neurology at Vertex Pharmaceuticals. Early career at Molecular Insight Pharmaceuticals involved ascending roles from Scientist II to Associate Director of Biology. Shawn earned a PhD in Chemistry/Biochemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BA in Chemistry from the College of the Holy Cross.
