Pierre Ginestet has a diverse work experience in project management and engineering roles. Pierre started their career in 2012 with a stage in engineering at Hexcel Reinforcements UK Limited, where they studied the impact of carbon fiber weaving on the mechanical properties of composites. Pierre also worked on finding solutions for reusing production waste and participated in a project to design a carbon fiber chair.
Later, they had an alternating R&D role at STMicroelectronics in 2012-2013. In 2014, they completed a stage as a drafter/designer at KUKA Robotics, where they improved a robotized drilling/riveting cell for aircraft fuselage assembly.
After that, Pierre joined Thales Alenia Space as a technologist apprentice in 2014-2015, managing test campaigns and characterizing ceramic parts for satellite structures. Pierre continued with the company as a technologist intern in 2016, where they organized the mechanical and thermal study of ceramic parts for another satellite structure.
Pierre'snext position was with MI-GSO | PCUBED, where they served as a junior project manager from 2017 to 2019. In this role, they developed planning methods and indicators for the optimization of the LEAP engine project at Safran Aircraft Engine. Pierre also ensured technical and economic monitoring of the project. Pierre then progressed to the role of mission leader, overseeing the planning, technical-economic management, and risk management of the LEAP program.
In 2020, Pierre worked as an engineering consultant at PLANITEC - Expertise Gestion de Projet as an attached study engineer.
Currently, they are working at IxxiTechside (RATP Smart Systems) as part of the PMO (Project Management Office) team. Pierre'sresponsibilities include developing a project management framework, consolidating project data, and providing operational support for major projects to ensure contract delivery and project success.
Pierre Ginestet's education history begins in 2010 when they attended Université de Bordeaux and pursued a DUT SGM (Science et Génie des Matériaux) degree until 2012. From 2012 to 2013, Pierre studied at the same university and obtained a Licence Professionnelle in Gestion de projets innovants. Following this, they enrolled at Master Mécanique and focused on Mécanique des Structures Composites : Aéronautique et Eco-conception from 2013 to 2015. Finally, in 2015 to 2016, Pierre attended Arts et Métiers ParisTech - École Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers for a Mastère Spécialisé in Ingénierie Aéronautique et Spatiale.
