Michel Blankleder has a wealth of experience in the IT industry. Starting in 2003, they began their career as a GNU/Linux Sysadmin at Hyperlink Comunicaciones, where they rebuilt the company's IT infrastructure and migrated systems from closed to open source software. Michel then moved to Uniotel S.A. in 2005, where they administered over 30 GNU/Linux servers and setup VPNs SSL and IPSec for voice encryption. In 2012, Michel joined Chaordic Systems as a Cloud Engineer, responsible for cloud infrastructure development automation and configuration management running on AWS. Michel then moved to JFrog in the same year, where they improved the efficiency of the data center servers for the company's Open Source services and collaborated with the development of the cloud Infrastructure automation running on AWS. Most recently, they have been the Head of Cloud Infrastructure and Operations at Ravelin Technology since 2016, managing a multi cloud infrastructure and overseeing all aspects ranging from load balancers to certificates renewals. Michel has also successfully headed one of the first migrations from AWS to Google Cloud while Google Cloud was still in beta form.
Michel Blankleder received their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Industrial Electronics Technology/Technician from UTU - Dirección General de Educación Técnico - Profesional in the years 1991 to 1993. Michel then attended Universitario Autónomo del Sur from 2008 to 2011, studying Computer Systems Analysis/Analyst. In addition, Michel Blankleder has two certifications: an Amateur Radio License from Ofcom obtained in November 2020, and an Amateur Radio License from Unidad Reguladora de Servicios de Comunicaciones (URSEC) obtained in July 1995.
