Mark Sutherland has a diverse and extensive work experience. Mark held the position of Head of Global DTC eCommerce at Ravensburger starting in 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Stone Group Ltd as the Director of Ecommerce and later as the Senior Head of Ecommerce. In these roles, they restructured and developed the digital team, built a B2B/B2C/B2G/DTC ecommerce site, and drove sales on Stone Group's ecommerce sites. Mark also served as the CEO of Transform to Digital Limited, a consultancy that supports digital transformation for B2B and B2C businesses. Earlier in their career, Mark worked as the Ecommerce Director EMEA at Ricoh Europe and played a key role in rebuilding their ecommerce system and growing online revenue. Mark has also served as a professional speaker at various events and as an advisory board member for organizations such as Worldwide Business Research (WBR) and eCommerce Expo. Mark's work experience also includes roles at Atos, SIG plc, and Insight, where they focused on digital experience, user experience, eBusiness management, and ecommerce strategy.
Mark Sutherland began their education in 1992 at Nottingham Trent University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) degree in Government & Public Policy. Mark completed this program in 1996.
Afterward, Mark enrolled at The University of Manchester in 1996 and completed a Master of Arts (Econ) degree in Politics & European Policy in 1998.
Additionally, in September 2009, Mark obtained a certification as a Prince 2 Practitioner from ILX Learning.
