David's earlier roles include General Assignment Reporter at Law360, where coverage spanned various legal fields, and Reporter for the Daily Journal Corp covering corporate counsel. Additional experience encompasses positions as a News Intern for the Santa Barbara Independent, where David published multiple articles, and as Staff Writer and Copy Editor for Word Magazine, a student-run publication at UC Santa Barbara. David holds a BA in English and Religious Studies from UC Santa Barbara, completed in 2011.
