Richard B. Polner

Richard B. Polner concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial motor vehicle litigation, catastrophic construction liability, products liability, premises liability, workers’ compensation, and toxic torts.

Mr. Polner has handled numerous appellate matters concerning personal injury liability, damages and expert issues, civil procedure and commercial litigation. He has litigated matters before state human rights agencies concerning employment discrimination and housing discrimination. Mr. Polner has contributed to articles and presentations regarding mold litigation, the applicable Statutes of Limitations and evidentiary issues, cellular phone litigation, and reactive airway distress syndrome. He has also contributed to amicus curiae briefs submitted to the Court of Appeals on behalf of the Defense Association of New York. He was selected to lecture at a New York State Bar Association program entitled “Law School for Insurance Professionals – More than the Basics” regarding damages issues.

Mr. Polner received his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School in 1998 and his B.A. from Binghamton University in 1991. He is admitted to practice before the Courts of the State of New York and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
