ALI OSMAN OZDILEK

Ali Osman Ozdilek has a diverse work experience in various companies and organizations. In 2019, they started working at ICBC Turkey as a Data Protection Counsel. Later that year, they also took on the role of Data Protection Counsel and DPO for GDPR at Ermenegildo Zegna Group. In 2019, they became a Data Protection Counsel at Ray Sigorta and a Digitalization&Cybercrime Committee Member at the European Lift Association. In 2020, they joined Ipekyol and Corendon Airlines as a Data Protection Counsel. In 2022, they became a GDPR Counsel at Credit Europe Bank N.V. and a Board Member at Blockchain-based Service Network (BSN). In the same year, they joined the European Law Institute (ELI) as a Member of the Consultative Committee for Guiding Principles and Model Rules on Algorithmic Contracts and the Consultative Committee for Climate Justice - New Challenges for Law and Judges. ALI OSMAN has also been serving as Chairman at Akhadia Holding since 2019.

Ali Osman Ozdilek's education history is as follows:

ALI OSMAN obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Public Law from Ozyegin University, studying from 2018 to 2023.

Prior to that, they received a Master of Laws (LL.M.), cum laude, in International Contracts and Arbitration from the Université de Fribourg - Universität Freiburg, from 2015 to 2017.

In 1994, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Law from Istanbul University, which they pursued from 1994 to 1998.

In 1990, they obtained a vocational school diploma in Computer and Electronics from JICA Project Tuzla Vocational School.

In terms of primary education, they attended Ecole St. Pascal Baylon in Montreal QC, where they completed their Ecole Primaire.

Apart from their formal education, they have also obtained additional certifications. In 2021, they became an ISO 27001 Lead Auditor certified by Proks Certification GmbH. In 2018, they earned the Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) certification from The International Association of Privacy Professionals.
