Jenny Holt

Jenny Holt has a strong background in biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies with extensive experience in program and project management. Jenny currently holds the position of SVP, Program Portfolio Management at Ray Therapeutics, Inc. where they began working in May 2022. Prior to this, Jenny served as the VP of Program Management at 4D Molecular Therapeutics from February 2019 to June 2022, leading a team of 10 Project Managers and overseeing gene therapy product development. Jenny also held the role of Senior Director of Program and Alliance Management at 4D Molecular Therapeutics from September 2014 to June 2022, where they managed the AAV Gene Therapy program in the retina and handled alliances with partners.

Jenny Holt's experience extends beyond their time at 4D Molecular Therapeutics. Jenny was a Co-Founder and Advisor at IGNITE Immunotherapy, contributing their expertise in program management, translational research, and regulatory affairs from an unspecified start date to April 2020. Prior to their involvement with IGNITE Immunotherapy, Jenny worked at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (NIBR) as a Scientist I from October 2007 to May 2014. Their work at NIBR involved cancer biology research, including the development of new small molecule cancer drugs and the study of cancer resistance and DNA damage and repair.

Jenny Holt began their career in the biotech industry as a Scientific Associate at Berlex Biosciences in 2001, where they gained experience in molecular biology techniques, cell culture, and virology. Before that, they worked as a Research Associate at Onyx Pharmaceuticals from 1996 to 2000, involved in generating proprietary viruses and various molecular biology techniques. Jenny also held the role of Research Associate at The Gladstone Institutes from 1994 to 1996, where they investigated gene therapy in atherosclerotic arteries and managed the Core Sequencing Facility.

Jenny Holt obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Aquatic Biology from UC Santa Barbara, where they studied from 1990 to 1994. In addition to their degree, they also obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in October 2020.
