Athanasios Roidis

Athanasios Roidis has a diverse work experience history. In 2019, they joined Sightcorp by Raydiant as a Deep Learning Engineer. Athanasios was part of the acquisition when Sightcorp was acquired by Raydiant in January 2022. Prior to that, in 2018, they worked as a part-time Web Developer for the Education Service Center at the University of Amsterdam, where they contributed to the DataNose project. Athanasios also served as a Teaching Assistant at Amsterdam University College for a week, leading sessions on Pytorch and deep CNN architectures. Athanasios began their career as a Signaller in the Hellenic Army from November 2015 to August 2016.

Athanasios Roidis completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) from 2011 to 2015. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Amsterdam from 2016 to 2019.
