Mariela Heredia Muñoz

Mariela Heredia Muñoz is a seasoned data science professional with extensive experience in public health and statistical analysis. Currently serving at Rayen Salud since August 2023, Mariela is focused on developing dashboards to enhance public health management and actively participates in research applying machine learning to improve efficiency in health projects. Mariela previously led data science initiatives at NielsenIQ from June 2013 to April 2023, optimizing segmentation methodologies for new product analysis. Prior to that, Mariela worked as a Business Analyst at Oriflame and as a Full Statistician at AC Nielsen, where Mariela contributed to statistical design improvements during a project in China. Mariela earned an Engineering degree in Statistics from Universidad de Valparaíso and has pursued further education at multiple institutions, including Universidad de Santiago de Chile and Universidad Chileno-Britanica.
