Neil Faragher

Senior Product Development Engineer at RayGen

Neil Faragher has worked in various engineering roles since 2003. In 2003, they began their career as a Development Engineer at Methven Ltd, where they were a key designer of the SatinJet hand-piece platform product and lead designer on two family products. In 2006, they moved to PDD Group Ltd as a Development Engineer, where they were the lead mechanical design engineer for several products. In 2008, they joined Solar Systems PTY LTD as a Mechanical Engineer, where they designed a cooling system for CPV solar power technology and managed the construction and completion of two cooling system prototypes. In 2009, they became the Green Technology Manager at CERES Community Environment Park, where they managed design and construction of several clean technology projects. In 2013, they returned to RayGen as a Mechanical Engineer, where they worked in a small team to design, build, and commission concentrated photovoltaic power stations. In 2020, they began working as a Senior Product Development Engineer at RayGen and a Mechanical Engineer at ANT Energy Solutions Pty. Ltd. In 2018, they took a sabbatical year for travel and learning.

Neil Faragher received a BE in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Auckland in 2002. In 2011, they completed the Fellow of Future Maker's Program at the Centre for Sustainability Leadership, studying Strategy & Sustainability.
