Evan Floss

Evan Floss currently serves as the Lead Threat Detection Engineer at Raymond James since November 2024. Previously, Evan held the position of Senior Security Engineer at SP6 from October 2021 to November 2024, focusing on enhancing Splunk architecture and security postures for clients. Prior to SP6, Evan worked as a Senior Security Engineer at ReliaQuest, supporting the development of Splunk and QRadar environments. Evan's career includes a role as Director of IT at Validus Senior Living, where oversight of IT operations and infrastructure planning was key. Earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Systems Engineer at Atlas Professional Services and IT Manager at Infinity Computer Solutions/TeleVoIPs, with foundational management skills developed as Building Manager at the Marshall Student Center. Evan holds a Master's in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Western Governors University and a Bachelor's in Business Administration with a focus on Management Information Systems from the University of South Florida.
