Pete Baumgarten

Pete Baumgarten's work experience includes serving as the Corporate Director of Operations and Optimization at Raymond Handling Solutions, Inc. since July 2020. Prior to that, they worked as the Expeditionary Warfare School Distance Education Program Course Director at Davis Defense Group, Inc. from February 2015 to July 2020. Pete also has a strong background in the military, serving in various roles in the United States Marine Corps from 2003 to 2014, including Commanding Officer, 1st Marine Regiment and NORTHCOM LNO to SOUTHCOM.

Pete Baumgarten has a strong educational background in the field of national defense and security strategy. Pete obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Engineering from the United States Naval Academy, where they studied from 1984 to 1988. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Operations Research at the Naval Postgraduate School, completing their studies from 1998 to 2000. Pete further enhanced their expertise by attending the National War College, where they obtained a Master's degree in National Security Strategy between 2009 and 2010.
