Unmesh Koirala

Unmesh Koirala, Ph.D., is a Senior Strategy Analyst at Rayonier since January 2022, previously holding the position of Senior Market Intelligence Analyst. Unmesh has experience as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Florida from May 2021 to December 2021 and served as a Graduate Research Assistant at both the University of Florida from August 2015 to December 2020 and the University of Georgia from August 2013 to August 2015. Unmesh Koirala earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Natural Resource Economics and Policy from the School of Forest Resources and Conservation at the University of Florida between 2015 and 2020, a Master of Science (MS) in Forest Economics from the Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources at the University of Georgia from 2013 to 2015, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Forestry from the Institute of Forestry in Pokhara, Nepal, from 2007 to 2012.
