Samuel Malinen

Samuel Malinen is an experienced test engineer currently at RaySearch Laboratories since August 2017. Prior to this role, Samuel served as a senior software engineer at Scania Group from July 2007 to July 2017, where responsibilities included developing sensor fusion algorithms in C/C++ for autonomous vehicles, leading a team, creating a test automation framework for a HIL simulator using Python and Simulink, and developing embedded software for ADAS systems. Earlier experience includes working as an algorithm developer at ZF Lenksysteme from May 2005 to June 2007, focusing on algorithms and embedded software for the Active front steering system. Samuel Malinen holds a Master of Science degree in Applied Physics and Electrical Engineering from Linköping University, completed between 2000 and 2005, with additional studies at Nanyang Technological University Singapore from 2003 to 2004.
