Carmen Thiede has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the field of human resources. Carmen started their career in 1989 at Securian Financial, where they served as a Field Development/Sales Operations Manager until 2000. From 2000 to 2002, they worked as a Human Resources Manager at Campbell Mithun. Thiede then joined RBC Dain Rauscher, Inc. as a Managing Director of Human Resources from 2002 to 2006.
In 2006, they began working at Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc., serving as a VP of Human Resources from 2006 to 2009, and then as a SVP of Human Resources from 2010 to 2013. Thiede later joined Regis Corporation, where they held the position of SVP and Chief Human Resources Officer from 2013 to 2017.
From 2017 to 2019, Thiede worked at ABRA Auto Body & Glass as a Chief People Officer. Carmen then joined SnapAV as the Chief Human Resources Officer from 2019 to 2020, and also briefly served as an Interim Chief Human Resources Officer and Integration Consultant during that time. Thiede then moved on to Ritchie Bros., where they held multiple roles, including Chief Human Resources Officer from 2020 to 2021, Chief People Officer from 2021 to 2022, and Chief Transformation and People Officer from 2022 to 2023.
Most recently, Thiede serves as the Chief Transformation Officer at RB Global Inc., starting in 2023.
Carmen Thiede completed their education at St. Olaf College from 1985 to 1989, where they obtained a B.A. with a double major in Math and Economics. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management between 2002 and 2013.
