Matiss Sakne

Matiss Sakne is a seasoned engineer currently serving as a Design and Construction Process Expert at RB Rail AS, with a focus on the Rail Baltica project since October 2020. Previous roles include Bridge Engineer and Bridge and Structures BIM Engineer, demonstrating expertise in structural analysis, FEM design, and 3D modeling using TEKLA STRUCTURES during employment at UPB AS from July 2014 to October 2020. Matiss also contributed to structural design in high-rise buildings at Tyréns AB in 2017. Early experiences include internships and positions in project management, risk management, and quality management, along with serving as the team captain and a professional basketball player for HIC Basketball. Matiss holds a Master’s Degree in Civil and Architectural Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from VIA University College.
