Payam Sabzmeydani

Payam Sabzmeydani is an experienced technology leader with a strong background in engineering and machine learning. Currently serving as Sr. Director of Engineering at Borealis AI since July 2019, Payam has held various roles including Director of Engineering and Senior Machine Learning Engineering Lead. Prior experience includes a Senior Software Engineer position at Apple from August 2016 to July 2019 and a Senior Software Engineer role at airG Inc. from 2008 to 2016, where Payam designed and maintained server-side application platforms for a large user base. Early career experience includes software development at Koolhaus Games and research work at Simon Fraser University's Vision and Media Lab. Payam holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Sharif University of Technology.
