Saghar Irandoust

Saghar Irandoust is a Machine Learning Research Engineer 2 at RBC Borealis since June 2022, focusing on foundation models and representation learning, and leading research in a subproject. Previous experience includes roles as a Machine Learning Research Engineer and intern, where Saghar contributed to time series forecasting and successfully produced multiple projects, including a patented model. As a Research Assistant at Simon Fraser University, contributions included inferring house floorplans from single panorama images and publishing work on indoor location history fusion. Saghar holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Simon Fraser University, achieving a GPA of 4.11, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology.
