Arne Jaspers

Arne Jaspers is a highly experienced sport scientist with an extensive background in athlete monitoring and performance management across various organizations. Since March 2018, Arne has been serving as a sport scientist for the Royal Belgian Football Association, focusing on athlete monitoring of the Red Devils. Arne's research at KU Leuven, which began in February 2014, encompasses athlete tracking technology and load management in team sports, progressing from a PhD researcher to a postdoctoral researcher and research associate. Additional roles include providing sport science support for Peddelsport Vlaanderen and Raw Stadia, as well as experience with professional football clubs including Oud-Heverlee Leuven and AZ Alkmaar. Arne has also worked with the UAE Football Association and the Saudi Arabian Football Federation during FIFA World Cup qualifiers. Arne holds a PhD in Sport Sciences, a Master's in Rehabilitation Sciences and Physiotherapy, and a Master's in Movement Sciences, all obtained from KU Leuven.
