Chris Campbell

Chris is Partner and head of investments. He works closely with national intermediaries and mid-market corporates to identify and complete new investment opportunities.

Operating throughout the UK, Chris sources and evaluates new opportunities, coordinates financial and commercial due diligence, and ultimately works with stakeholders and advisors to structure and deliver transactions.

Chris has sourced and negotiated the completion of a number of noteworthy and successful investments including; Cluttons, Summit Media, Independent Group, Greens, Wrexham Wire and Systems Training.

Prior to Rcapital, Chris worked in KPMG’s Transactions & Restructuring team for ten years, principally advising corporates and lenders to maximise value on an exit, typically in turnaround or distressed scenarios. His background includes M&A, working capital management and operational restructuring and he previously spent 12 months seconded to the risk team of one of the UK’s largest clearing banks.
