Mustafa Kaftan (formerly Abdul-Rasool) has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries.

Starting in 2013, they worked at Tritech Technology AB as a Development Engineer Consultant, where they also conducted C-programming tests for candidates. Mustafa left in 2018 to become a Consultant - Mechatronic Engineering at Mycronic, where they supported different projects and products of Pic and Place machines.

In 2016, Mustafa joined Stoneridge, Inc., Electronics & Control Devices as a Consultant - Embedded Software Developer, working on a tachograph unit. Mustafa also worked on real-time embedded software development of a telematic unit during their time there.

From 2015 to 2016, they worked as a Consultant - SW developer & Team Lead at Mycronic, specializing in embedded software development and leading a team for the servo-unit on Pic and Place machines.

Prior to that, Mustafa worked at Scania Group as a Consultant - Prototyping at the Pre-Development Department. Mustafa was involved in pre-development of longitudinal vehicle control and software architecture, as well as designing a prototype for a Waste Heat Recovery system.

Mustafa then worked as a Private Teacher and Coach at Allakando from 2018 to 2019, before transitioning to roles in the tech industry. Mustafa founded Techtourist AB in 2019, working as a Founder & Development Engineer Consultant.

In 2019, Mustafa also joined Volvo Car Mobility as a System Engineer and later transitioned to the role of Backend Developer. Mustafa'sresponsibilities included backend development, frontend development in Vue, and prototyping in Android App.

Most recently, they worked as a Full Stack Engineer at Althaqalayn Study Center, digitalizing the administrative work for the study center and developing a Student Information System.

Currently, Mustafa is employed as an Embedded Software Developer at RCO Security, starting in November 2021.

Mustafa Kaftan (former Abdul-Rasool) obtained their MSc EE degree in Electrical Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, where they studied from 2006 to 2011. Mustafa also holds additional certifications, including "DevOps Foundations: Site Reliability Engineering" from LinkedIn, which they obtained in October 2020, and "C++ For C Programmers, Part A" from Coursera, obtained in June 2018.
