Erin Van Zee, APR has extensive experience in communications and marketing roles. Erin is currently serving as the Communications Director at RDG Planning & Design, where they oversee the firm's internal and external communications strategies. Prior to this role, Erin worked at DLR Group as the Brand Communications Manager, where they collaborated with experts to promote the firm's thought leadership and design achievements. Erin also served as the Marketing Manager for DLR Group's Central K-12 team, where they created compelling marketing collateral. Before joining DLR Group, Erin worked at Seldin Company as the Marketing Communications & Outreach Manager and as a Content Creator | Graphic Designer. Erin began their career at Applied Underwriters, holding various positions including Manager of Medical Networks and Disability Prevention Specialist.

Erin Van Zee, APR, holds a Master's degree in English, with a focus on Technical Communication & Information Design, which they obtained from the University of Nebraska at Omaha during the period of 2008 to 2012. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in English from the same institution, completing their studies from 2002 to 2007. Before attending the University of Nebraska at Omaha, Erin briefly attended the University of South Dakota in 2001-2002, where they studied Broadcast Journalism. In addition to their academic achievements, Erin Van Zee has obtained accreditation in Public Relations (PR) from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) in September 2022.
