Sean Tomlins

Sean Tomlins has a diverse work experience spanning over various roles in different companies. Sean is currently working as a Principal Engineer at Re-Leased since April 2021 and previously held the position of Senior Software Developer at the same company since December 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Software Developer at Exameron Limited for a short period in September 2017. Sean also has experience as a Lead .NET Developer at Truphone, where they worked on multiple .NET applications, including MVC web apps, WCF web services, and windows services, from February 2016 to April 2017. Before that, they were a Development Specialist at Equinox IT from October 2013 to December 2015, where they worked on both .NET and Java engagements with clients. Earlier in their career, Sean worked as a Web Developer at QJumpers from June 2010 to July 2013, responsible for maintaining and developing their web application. Sean also had a role as a Documentation Officer at Immigration New Zealand from April 2008 to January 2010, handling processing incoming applications and outgoing documentation. Sean started their career in the field of general labor at Amcor Kiwi Packaging as a General Laborer from November 2005 to February 2006. Prior to that, they worked as a Casual Machinist at We-Can Precision Engineering from November 2004 to February 2005, operating CNC Mills/Lathes and performing other manual machining tasks.

Sean Tomlins attended Massey University from 2004 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Computer Systems Engineering. During this time, they also pursued a degree in Computer Systems and Electronics Engineering, although the exact institution is unspecified. Prior to attending university, Sean Tomlins completed their secondary education at Lindisfarne College in Hastings from 1999 to 2003. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a certification as a Programming in C# Specialist from Microsoft in July 2014.
