David A. Neuman has an extensive work experience spanning several decades. David A. co-founded Reach in 2018, which started as a news crowdsourcing platform and later evolved into a virtual marketplace connecting brands with creators and influencers. David A. developed the concept, created business plans, and helped raise venture capital for the company.
In 2020, Neuman joined Genius Brands International Inc (GNUS) as the Chief Creative Officer, where they oversaw the development of original animated programs and live-action content. David A. managed script development for two animated series and innovated the production of high-quality children's programs during the Covid pandemic.
Before that, Neuman established Blackrock Productions Inc. in 2010, a production and consulting house focused on helping media companies define their content and connect with their audience. David A. developed a large slate of feature films, documentaries, and comedy and drama series, including projects with Academy Award-winning screenwriters.
Neuman's previous roles include being the President of Programming at Current Media, where they developed an innovative format for a 24/7 cable news and documentary channel. David A. also served as the Chief Programming Officer at CNN, where they revitalized the programming, scheduling, and talent to compete with other cable news networks.
Earlier in their career, Neuman was the President of Digital Entertainment Network, where they pioneered streaming video formats and secured financing from major investors. David A. also held the position of President at Walt Disney Television, managing ongoing productions and establishing relationships with major buyers in the industry.
Neuman's career began at NBCUniversal, where they started in the management training program and rapidly climbed the ranks to become the youngest VP-level executive in the history of NBC. David A. played a significant role in the development and production of popular primetime programs such as Golden Girls, Cheers, Family Ties, Cosby, and Night Court.
Additionally, Neuman worked at Channel One News, where they created a daily news broadcast for millions of middle and high school students, and at 20th Century Fox as the President of Grantwood Productions.
Throughout their career, Neuman has demonstrated expertise in content development, programming strategy, talent management, and raising capital.
