Marisa Bernardo

Marisa Bernardo has a diverse work experience in various industries. Marisa is currently working as a QA Specialist at Reachdesk, where they participate in all phases of the SDLC. Marisa'sresponsibilities include implementing QA processes, conducting frontend and backend tests, and automation of tests to ensure quality. Marisa has a keen interest in continuous testing, CI/CD, security, performance, and monitoring.

Prior to Reachdesk, Marisa worked as a QA Engineer at Talkdesk from 2019 to 2022. Marisa was a part of the Campaign Manager team, responsible for campaigns on the Outbound Dialer product. Marisa worked with React and Ruby/Rails and used tools like Postman/Newman for backend test automation and Cypress for automated UI tests. Marisa worked in an Agile environment, writing tests on Xray and utilizing Jenkins for CI/CD.

From 2016 to 2020, Marisa pursued a personal project called BioVidya - Beauty, Health, and Wellness, Natural Cosmetics. Marisa worked as a Chemical Cosmetic Developer and utilized their skills in entrepreneurship, creativity, and research. Marisa ventured into areas beyond their chemistry training, such as marketing, web development, IT, and data science.

At ISEL, Marisa served as a Researcher from 2009 to 2016, focusing on chemical, environmental, and biotechnology areas. Marisa specialized in membrane separation processes for wastewater treatment and compound purification using biocatalysts. Marisa'sresearch aimed to synthesize products with anti-cancer and anti-oxidant properties.

Marisa completed their Pós Graduação em Data Science at Universidade Atlântica/Rumos in 2019.
